New York trio The Dream Logic announce breakout sophomore album “My Black Arts’Free Download of single “Drunken Monkey” here.
This result second album of 14 genre splicing songs of top quality. For a taster of ‘My Black Arts’, check out funky album track ‘Drunken Monkey’:
Between the members of the band, there is a lot of stage and recording experience, having played and toured with the likes of D’Angelo, Joan Jett, Christina Aguilera, Les Nubians and many others. And, if there is anything approaching a ‘mission statement’ for the band, it’s that they want to distil all that experience down into songs that are simple, but effective. Perhaps the band put it best themselves:
“You know how you go someplace like a restaurant or someone’s house and they serve you food that is so simple, you had it a million times before, but somehow it’s just perfect. That’s what we are going for.” – The Dream Logic
‘My Black Arts’ is out now through Chaos Music Company.

A slow paced and evolving track that creates a great sense of atmosphere. Loving the vocals and strained notes. Great Stuff.

A rave track from the guys at witching season. Its so encompassing of the rock genre that this sound will blow you away with its majesty and power. The band have really gone all out with this hard hitting beat. Comment your thoughts below!
An overwhelmingly mature track from this young male band. Its got a great guitar riff and makes nice use of the synth sounds, however I kind of feel the vocal talents of this band are not demonstrated brilliantly, I was struggling to make out the lyrics at times, which was a shame. None the less a very well made track and one I would love to hear your opinion on. So get commenting!
A lovely acoustic country style song with a real message behind it. Taken from his album ‘I Know A Little Place’, ‘Take It As It Comes’ is a fantastic introduction into what Richard is all about. Very catchy – you will definitely be tapping your toes to this one! Great tune.
A soft and sensational track from the young female artist. Its got feeling and emotion, a plenty. She tells us that the track was written in memory of her late mother, to whom she was very close. Its imagery is fantastic and the vocal style of Jessie is quite unique!
Tell us your thoughts on ‘Stars’ in the comments and we will get back to you!
A track that delivers a soft and clean revival to a riff first aired by Bryan Adams with the song, Summer of ’69. It sound very different and has a much greater emphasis on the smashing guitar solo and hard rock sound.
